Appointment of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Colorado

Denver, CO -- The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit has appointed Honorable Joseph G. Rosania, Jr. to the bankruptcy bench for the District of Colorado, effective Monday, January 4, 2016.

Judge Rosania was previously in private practice with Connolly, Rosania & Lofstedt, PC, where he was primarily engaged as a Chapter 7 trustee. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado. After law school he clerked for Honorable Jay L. Gueck at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado, before going into private practice.

Honorable Marcia Krieger, Chief U.S. District Judge for the District of Colorado, administered the oath to Judge Rosania. Judge Rosania will have chambers in Denver.
The Tenth Circuit, with administrative headquarters in Denver, Colorado, encompasses the states of Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming.
