Courthouse Tours

The Byron White Courthouse  is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays.  The Byron White historical display and the Tenth Circuit Historical Society display are always available during those hours.  Access to courtrooms may be restricted at times due to court proceedings.

Scheduled Tours

The court is pleased to offer tours to groups when schedules permit.  To schedule a tour for your group (class, school, professional group, club, etc) contact the Office of the Circuit Executive to arrange the tour, 303-844-2067.

Unscheduled Tours

If you are planning a visit to the Byron White courthouse but are unable to schedule a tour in advance, you are welcome to inquire at the Clerk's counter if there is a staff member available to give you a tour.  Availability for unscheduled tours is not guaranteed and always subject to the workload and schedule of the court.

Prohibition on Photography, Recording, and Broadcasting

Taking photographs inside the courthouse, audio and video recording, and broadcasting proceedings in a federal court violates a nationwide policy promulgated by the Judicial Conference of the United States.  All devices that can potentially be used for photography, recording, or broadcasting must be inactive or switched off while in attendance at a court proceeding.  No cameras (without other functionality) will be allowed inside the courthouse under any circumstances.  Photography and recorded interviews are permitted only outside the courthouse.
