On March 28, 2022, renovation work commenced on the plaza in front of the Byron White US Courthouse along Stout Street. The main entrance to the building will remain open throughout the project, however access to the front entrance will be from the south (18th Street) side of the building (indicated by a red arrow in the photo below) where a temporary staircase and hand rail system has been constructed.

Disabled Access to the Byron White US Courthouse remains on the north (19th Street) side of the building, but will be facilitated via a temporary ramp constructed on the 19th Street side of the building, as noted on the map above. Signs and maps with directions are also located around the perimeter of the construction site.
