Appointment of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Colorado

Denver, CO -- On Monday, March 23rd, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit appointed Honorable Thomas B. McNamara to the bankruptcy bench for the District of Colorado.

Judge McNamara was previously with the law firm Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP where he had a dispute resolution and international focus. Earlier in his career he represented debtors, trustees, creditors and individuals in a full array of bankruptcy matters. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota and received his Juris Doctor from the Yale Law School.

Honorable Marcia Krieger, Chief U.S. District Judge for the District of Colorado, administered the oath to Judge McNamara this afternoon. Judge McNamara will have chambers in Denver.

The Tenth Circuit, with administrative headquarters in Denver, Colorado, encompasses the states of Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming.
