The Tenth Circuit Bar Admissions fee is $200, checks should be made payable to the Clerk of Court.

All counsel, including counsel appointed pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act, who represent litigants in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals must be admitted to the bar of the court. Admission requirements are set forth in the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure (Fed. R. App. P. 46) and the Tenth Circuit Local Rules (10th Cir. R. 46.2). Application forms for admission may be obtained from the clerk.

Please contact the office of the Clerk for an application packet. The packet includes a 3x5 card with the application on one side and the motion on the other. Both sides must be completed. Rather than obtain the signature of a movant on the card, attorneys may, in the alternative, submit a certificate of good standing from a state in which he/she is licensed to practice. The Clerk will then move your admission.

The admission fee will be waived for any attorney representing the United States and for attorneys appointed by the court to represent a party to an appeal. A certificate of admission will be issued by the clerk's office and forwarded to counsel.
